Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Mesa, AZ
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Onsite | Weekends and Holidays required per department guidelines
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity intensive care setting
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Adhere to all facility compliance, background check, and dress code standards, including navy scrubs
- Complete required facility learning modules prior to the start of assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 24 months of PICU experience, with experience within the last 12 months
- Active Arizona RN license, verified within the last 30 days, with no disciplinary actions
- Active BLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active ACLS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Active PALS certification from AHA, ARC, or ASHI
- Valid driver's license required to verify residency; Arizona residents are not eligible for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
- Flexibility with locations, shifts, and departments to support placement efficiency
