Registered Nurse – PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting with patient ratios of 1:1–2, and 1:3 for intermediate care
- Float to adolescents, pediatrics, PHOC, and NICU as needed, with ratios varying based on patient acuity
- Perform and assist with CVVH and/or CRRT procedures as required
- Participate in patient transport within the facility as needed
- Document all patient care accurately using the EPIC charting system
- Work every other weekend and applicable holidays as required
Required Qualifications- Minimum of 3 years of PICU experience required (2 years may be considered for candidates from large facilities)
- Active New Jersey RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required at time of submission
- Experience with CVVH and/or CRRT highly preferred
- Patient transport experience highly preferred
- Must be available to work 2 of 3 major holidays and adhere to the agreed-upon schedule without modifications once onsite
Preferred Experience / Skills- NIH certification preferred
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- Experience floating across pediatric subspecialty units including NICU and PHOC
