    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified PICU RN in Omaha, Nebraska, 68105!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

    Omaha, NE

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care across a mixed-acuity unit, including PICU (1:2 ratio), PCU (1:3 ratio), and acute care (1:4 ratio) assignments
    • Adapt to working across the full acuity spectrum as required by unit needs
    • Serve as a Rover/Task Nurse on inpatient units as needed, performing duties such as repositioning, bathing, ambulation, meal assistance, patient transport, and medication administration
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
    • Adhere to scheduling requirements including weekend and holiday obligations as defined by unit policy
    • Comply with all facility policies, including a 100% nicotine-free environment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be scheduled six weeks out)
    • Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience at a Level I Trauma Center
    • Current BLS and PALS certifications
    • Proficiency with Epic charting system
    • Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
    • First-time travelers not accepted unless they have 3 or more years of PICU experience at a Level I Trauma Center
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Experience working across varied inpatient acuity levels, including NICU, Labor and Delivery, or adult acute care
