Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Schedule (Days and Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day Shift: 07:00–19:00 | Night Shift: 19:00–07:00 | Schedule rotates over multiple weeks, not within the same week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting
• Document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records (required, no exceptions)
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Complete all required orientation modules by the Friday of the orientation week
• Must be available to work a minimum of 2 holidays during the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• EPIC charting experience required — no exceptions
• 2 professional references required
• Must comply with facility natural nail policy
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate — no radius restrictions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a PICU or pediatric acute care setting
