Travel Nurse RN - Pediatric Med/Surg - $2,305 per week in Minneapolis, MN

Job Title: Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Pediatric Acute Care Float Pool Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience License: Registered Nurse license in Minnesota (must be obtained before start date) Certifications: BLS certification, PEARS or PALS certification Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - 2 years of pediatric nursing experience - Ability to float between different facilities as needed Description: We have an urgent need for Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses. The expectation is that Registered Nurses will float between facilities as needed. Registered Nurses will be responsible for coordinating and providing family-centered nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing the nursing process. Registered Nurses will be accountable for professional practice, including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. Work hours will include three 12-hour night shifts, and every other weekend will be required. A uniform of royal blue scrub bottoms and a kid-friendly shirt or scrub top is expected. All Registered Nurses are required to work a minimum of seven weekends within a 12-13 week assignment. Travel experience is preferred but not required, and local candidates will be accepted at the same rate. References are not required, but providing 1-2 could help candidates stand out. All candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of specialty inpatient experience. Strong candidates with less experience are encouraged to message the account manager directly.
