Care of pediatric patients with bronchiolitis
Pediatric behavioral-health experience
Neonatology experience
Patient Population
Gastrointestinal disorders
Endocrine disorders
Bariatric and nutritional-restoration patients
Infections, including sepsis
Limited postoperative and post-procedure care
Chest-tube patients
Long-term behavioral-health patients
Average length of stay: approximately four days
Floating Requirements
Travelers may float to:
Pediatric acute-care units
NICU
Children’s Hospital Colorado North and South campuses
Other Denver-area locations within approximately 35 miles
Floating or reassignment will remain within the RN’s demonstrated clinical competency and may be used to fulfill guaranteed hours.
Holiday and RTO Requirements
Must be available to work two of the three designated holidays
RTO blackout dates:
November 25–27
December 23–26
December 30–January 2
Maximum of four total RTO days
No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
Medical and religious exemptions to the seasonal influenza vaccine may be considered.
