Travel Nurse RN - Pediatric OR - $3,061 per week in Orange, CA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Pediatric Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year of acute care experience required 6 months of Pediatric Operating Room experience required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS BLS PALS Must-Have: No first-time travelers Description: Pediatric Operating Room position with a 4x10 schedule, days only. Start date for this position is August 31st, 2026. Candidates must have 1 year of acute care experience and 6 months of Pediatric Operating Room experience. Both inpatient and ambulatory experience will be accepted. Call requirements include a minimum of 3 weekday nights and 2 weekends per 6-week schedule. Weekend shifts will include 1-2 weekend day shifts within a 6-week schedule period. The average daily census is 25 patients per day. Charting is done using a designated system. Patient population includes ENT, Urology, Neuro, General, Ortho, and Trauma cases, both inpatient and outpatient. Nurses will function as a break nurse approximately 20% of the time during an 8-hour shift. Required skills include experience with various surgical procedures related to pediatrics. The position involves circulating and scrubbing during specific pediatric surgeries. Interdisciplinary support will be available.
