Schedule: 12-hour day shifts (06:45 - 19:15), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required, no call

Highlights:

• Pediatric medical-surgical and hematology/oncology unit serving patients ages 0-17
• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 with 24-hour orientation period
• Self-scheduling model with up to 7 days pre-approved time off
• Epic charting system with Pyxis and SBAR protocols
• Contract duration: 20+ weeks through February 27, 2027 to support through the holiday season
• Float to PICU and NICU as needed; interdisciplinary team support including PT, pharmacy, and respiratory services

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of pediatric nursing experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications required
• Chemotherapy administration experience and certification strongly preferred
• IV start and lab draw skills preferred
• Active NC or Compact nursing license (pending acceptable for submission)
• First-time travelers accepted with required experience
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
