Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics - $1,948 per week in Somerset, KY

Job Title: Pediatric RN Profession: RN Specialty: Pediatrics Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: RN Certifications: PALS, NRP, BLS Must-Have: Strong assessment skills, ability to multitask, self-motivated Description: This position involves providing nursing care in a pediatric unit. The patient population includes newborns to 17 years of age. Common diagnoses include failure to thrive, hyperbilirubinemia, bronchiolitis, RSV, respiratory distress, nausea/vomiting, and post-operative care following tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy. The unit consists of 8 beds with a patient ratio of approximately 3:1 or 4:1, depending on acuity. The facility utilizes an electronic health record system. There may be a requirement for floating to the mother/baby well baby unit. Two weekend shifts per month are required.
