Description:
Pediatric MedSurg RN position at a Children’s Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
Patient population: Infants, Pediatrics, and Adolescents
35-bed unit with approximately 27 daily census
1:4 staffing ratio; expected ratio 1:3–5
Float between units and potentially nearby sister facilities as needed
Skills include:
Pediatric respiratory care
BiPAP/CPAP management
Oxygen delivery systems
Bottle, breast, and gavage feedings
Breastfeeding and breast milk handling
IV therapy/phlebotomy
Central line and implanted line care
Hyperbilirubinemia management
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
Isolation precautions/PPE
Epic charting required
Free parking
