Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Pediatrics for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This role focuses on providing comprehensive nursing care to pediatric rheumatology patients in a clinical or medical office setting, including administering medications, assisting healthcare providers, and managing patient flow.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Pediatrics - Travel- Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients
- Administer medications and monitor for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, and care provided
- Assess learning needs and provide patient education
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure safety practices and promote positive patient outcomes
- Maintain and troubleshoot medical equipment
- Process and validate medical orders
- Communicate effectively across the continuum of care
Requirements of the RN - Pediatrics - Travel- Graduate of a Registered Nursing program; Bachelor's Degree preferred
- RN license in good standing in the state of TX or a compact state
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
- Completion of Nurse Residency Program
- 6 to 12 months of clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
- EPIC and insurance authorization experience preferred
