Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Alternating day and night 12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00 and 19:30 - 07:30)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Setting: Pediatric/NICU environment caring for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
• Patient Ratio: 1:3, up to 4 with lower acuity patients
• Charting System: Meditech preferred
• Floating: May be required within specialty or sister units as needed
• On-Call: Not required

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or compact RN license at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• Pediatric nursing and NICU experience required
• Experience with tracheostomy and ventilator care required
• Current BLS certification required
• CPI certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Experience managing patient ratios of 3-4 preferred
• Comfort working in a fast-paced pediatric healthcare environment and floating within scope
• Strong clinical skills supporting neonates, infants, and pediatric patients

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
• Monitor and manage patients with conditions such as prematurity, apnea of prematurity, ROP, BPD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, and NAS
• Support respiratory care, including trach and ventilator management
• Perform and assist with central line care, PICC care, TPN/IL administration, and peripheral line management
• Administer medications, blood products, and complex pediatric therapies as ordered
• Complete thorough assessments, document accurately in Meditech, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support high-quality patient outcomes
• Maintain infection prevention and safety practices throughout all patient interactions
• Provide family-centered care while supporting pediatric patients with varied acuity levels
• Participate in weekend coverage and floating assignments as needed
