• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 12, 2026
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Schedule: Alternating days and nights, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Required within specialty/sister units as needed
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130

Job Requirements

• Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license at the time of submission
• At least 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Recent experience caring for pediatric, infant, and neonatal populations
• Experience with trach and ventilator care strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• CPI certification required
• ACLS preferred
• Comfort working with patient ratios of 1:3 to 1:4
• Experience with Meditech preferred
• Ability to adapt quickly in a collaborative, family-centered healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as prematurity, apnea of prematurity, ROP, BLD/CLD, cardiac defects, feeding issues, and NAS
• Care for patients requiring tracheostomy and ventilator support
• Support therapies and treatments including PICC/central line care, TPN/IL, oxygen delivery, and feeding management
• Administer medications and blood products safely and accurately
• Perform thorough assessments, document care, and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, radiology, phlebotomy, and other interdisciplinary team members
• Maintain a safe, family-centered environment while delivering excellent bedside care
• Contribute to a supportive unit culture and uphold professional standards on every shift
