Required:
Candidates must have 2 years of pediatric experience.
Candidates must have experience with pediatric diabetes education and diabetes medications.
Candidates must hold a BSN and an active RN license.
Candidates must have AHA BLS certification.
Preferred:
1 year of ambulatory care experience is preferred.
Candidates must be willing and able to float to other units and facilities as needed.
Candidates must confirm COVID-19 vaccination and booster status.
Additional qualifications may include charge experience, patient ratio experience, and charting system experience.
Skills should include family care clinic, internal medicine, pediatrics, urgent care, interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, and obtaining vital signs.
Applicants should be familiar with asthma/reactive airway disease, croup, ear infections, fever, and recognizing signs of abuse.
Experience in pediatric procedures such as set up of aseptic/sterile procedure trays, capillary, throat, and urine testing, venipuncture/phlebotomy, telephone triage, and follow-up phone calls is beneficial.
Qualified candidates must be prepared for potential reassignment to different departments or facilities if necessary.
Employment history with any medical facility should be included.
Prior travel experience within the last 12 months is preferred.
Modules may be included as part of the onboarding process.
