Pediatric OR RN (Circulator) – Oklahoma City, OK

Shift: Weekend Days, Fri/Sat/Sun, 0630–1900. No call. OT possible if available.
Contract Length: 13 weeks (90 contract weeks available)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week
Requirement: Level I Pediatric experience required

Role Summary:

• Perioperative Circulator RN who plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients whose protective reflexes or self-care abilities may be compromised during operative or invasive procedures
• Provides direct and indirect nursing care in the OR
• Accountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation of care using the nursing process
• Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and procedure

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute operating room environment
• Strong knowledge of AORN Standards and professional nursing practices
• Active RN license from the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact (eNLC)
• Active BLS – AHA required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required (BSN preferred)
• CNOR preferred
