Job Details:
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Licensure/Certification: BLS and PALS; RN license; 2 years pediatric medical-surgical experience; BSN preferred; previous travel experience highly preferred but not required; EPIC experience within the last year; critical thinker, organized, strong time management skills; pediatric experience required
Preferred Qualifications: Team player, dependable, able to speak up if unfamiliar with procedures; strong unit culture; resource RN and charge RN roles; ability to admit 12-15 patients per shift; fast-paced, quick mover; willing to step in and assist as needed
Additional Information: Must be available to work 2 of the 3 specified holidays during the blackout periods. The assignment includes float responsibilities across PICU, NICU, and ED helping hands. No on-call duties. The unit is resource and charge nurse staffed, with support from management. Flexibility, high competence, and capability to handle pediatric patients efficiently are essential.
