• Required Qualifications: Minimum 2 years Pediatric RN experience in a large pediatric facility, 2 years specialty experience, certifications including BLS, experience with Trach/Vent patients, EVD and lumbar drains, Chest tubes, JP drains, Central lines, TPN/Lipids, CPM/Ortho/Halo traction, Colostomy, Ileostomy, Cecostomy, Nephrostomy care, TBI, neuro assessments, seizure management, solid organ transplant patients (liver/kidney), Trauma and rehabilitation patients, Location in the local area, 2 years of experience required
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Certifications: BLS
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN, previous travel experience preferred
• Additional Information: The unit has 82 private beds, supports patient ratios of 1:3-4 (occasionally 1:2 based on acuity), and uses advanced equipment such as Medfusion and Baxter Sigma IV pumps, Kangaroo feeding pumps, CADD PCA pumps, and ventilators. The healthcare team provides respiratory support 24/7 and anesthesia support as needed. RN staff start IVs, manage ketamine and heparin drips, and handle high-flow oxygen weaning.
