Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a high-acuity critical care setting
• BLS and PALS certification required
• ECMO experience required, including VA ECMO and VV ECMO
• Cardiohelp experience required
• Strong pediatric critical care background; NICU, PICU, or CVPICU experience preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Ability to work night shift, including every 3rd weekend
• Comfortable floating to NICU, PICU, and CVPICU as needed

Responsibilities

• Manage ECMO pumps for patients with cardiac and non-cardiac needs
• Support VA ECMO and VV ECMO patients with a high level of clinical precision
• Provide bedside nursing care in ICU areas when ECMO support is not required
• Care for cardiac, non-cardiac, and NICU patients based on unit needs
• Monitor and respond to changing patient conditions in a fast-paced pediatric critical care environment
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy, IV teams, phlebotomy, radiology, and other support services
• Participate in practice drills and ongoing ECMO education
• Maintain safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care for every assignment
