Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Nurse for a position located in Tacoma, Washington. This role involves providing specialized nursing care for neonates, infants, and pediatric patients undergoing cardiothoracic procedures, including complex cases such as Tetralogy of Fallot, ECMO, and valve repairs. Candidates are required to bring their nursing license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Tacoma, Washington
• Shift Schedule:
  • 8-hour days from 06:30 to 15:30
  • 12-hour days from 06:45 to 19:15
• Certifications, Licensure, and Experience:
  • Valid Washington State or Compact RN license
  • BLS and PALS certifications required; CNOR preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of Pediatric Cardiovascular Operating Room experience, including IV start and circulating skill requirements
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with scrubbing, art line procedures, and circulating with pediatric open heart patients
• Additional Details:
  • Floating: General Operating Room assistance as needed when not busy in CVOR
  • Weekend rotation: Call only
  • On-call duties: One call shift per week (with end of shift following morning), and two weekends within a six-week period (ending Friday morning) with a 30-minute response time
  • Scrub color will be provided
  • Parking: Free parking lot
