Job Title
Registered Nurse – PACU (Pediatric)
Location
Oakland, CA
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia care for pediatric patients in a Phase I PACU setting
- Monitor and manage patients during Phase II recovery
- Deliver inpatient nursing care in accordance with unit protocols and standards
- Float to other affiliated facilities as needed when requisite job specifications are met
- Complete required non-billable modules prior to start and annually as directed
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submittal)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Experience in Pediatric PACU and Phase I PACU
- Teaching hospital experience required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Epic electronic health records
- Phase II recovery experience in a pediatric setting
- Prior experience in an inpatient hospital environment
