Travel Nurse RN - Pediatrics in Oakland, CA

Job Title

Registered Nurse – PACU (Pediatric)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care for pediatric patients in a Phase I PACU setting
• Monitor and manage patients during Phase II recovery
• Deliver inpatient nursing care in accordance with unit protocols and standards
• Float to other affiliated facilities as needed when requisite job specifications are met
• Complete required non-billable modules prior to start and annually as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submittal)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Experience in Pediatric PACU and Phase I PACU
• Teaching hospital experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• Phase II recovery experience in a pediatric setting
• Prior experience in an inpatient hospital environment
