Recovery Room Pediatrics (PACU PEDS) Nurse in Madison, Wisconsin. This role involves providing specialized peri-anesthetic management for complex pediatric surgical and procedural patients in a comprehensive pediatric medical and surgical center. The position requires delivering compassionate and expert care across a variety of pediatric cases in a state-of-the-art facility.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 48 hours per week, starting 08/31/2026
• Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) license or compact RN license, at least 2 years of pediatric Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) experience, BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association, Epic electronic charting system experience, valid pediatric trauma experience, Telemetry testing with passing criteria to be completed before start.
• Preferred Qualifications: Inpatient RN experience, prior charge nurse experience, community hospital exposure, trauma level II experience, travel experience.
• Additional Information: The role involves independent peri-anesthetic management of pediatric patients, including advanced airway assessment, port management, arterial line management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line care, chest tube management, and other complex procedures. Travelers may be required to float as needed, adhering to the local rule of 50 miles from the facility.
