Job Opportunity – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00), self-scheduling with flexible consecutive or split scheduling options. Weekend coverage required on a variable basis. Holiday commitment required (3 of 5 major holidays).

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with 1:2 patient ratios
• Willingness to float to Pediatric Med/Surg and NICU units as needed
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, central line care, hemodynamic monitoring, IV vasopressors, and management of chest tubes
• Two professional references covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility
