Contract | Rotating Shift (Days and Nights) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Day: 7:00–19:30 / Night: 19:00–7:00 | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) setting for patients presenting with conditions including respiratory distress/failure, DKA, seizures, and pain management needs
  • Administer and monitor drips, arterial lines, and central lines/CVP
  • Perform and assist with moderate sedation procedures
  • Rotate between day and night shifts, including weekend coverage, within a 6-week scheduling cycle
  • Float to NICU and Pediatrics units as needed within scope of practice

Required Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse license – valid Maryland or Compact license required at time of submission
  • Minimum 2 years of PICU nursing experience
  • Current BCLS certification
  • Current PALS certification
  • Ability to float to NICU and Pediatrics within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience with arterial lines, central lines/CVP, and vasoactive drip management
  • Comfort working rotating day and night shifts, including frequent weekend assignments
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
