Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool Registered Nurse for a dynamic and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will float between various pediatric units, including PICU, NICU, pediatric med-surg, pediatric PACU, pediatric ED boarders, and postpartum/mother-baby units.

Position Details

• Type: Float Pool Position
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Days, 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend and Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend, every other holiday
• Time Off Policy: Up to 40 hours approved for time off; no requests for time off can be approved during the first 2 weeks of the assignment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PICU setting is required
• No less than 1 year of experience in a NICU setting is preferred
• Previous float pool experience in NICU or PICU is considered an asset
• BLS, NRP, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required
• Pediatric PACU experience is highly preferred
• Dr. Brown's Infant Driven Feeding Certification is required; certification may be pending upon application (cost applies)
• Epic electronic health record experience is necessary
• Virginia state license is required; pending applications may be considered
