Job Details
Position Description: This role assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care for pediatric patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards. The nurse is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered and utilizes specialized knowledge and judgment to care for patients across developmental stages.
Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or a compact RN licensure; BLS certification is required; no minimum years of experience required.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: The role involves providing direct patient care, coordinating activities of the healthcare team, and participating in quality improvement activities. The nurse may also supervise staff and work flow within the department.
