Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring 2 years of PICU experience and OH or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) with exposure to CICU (CVPICU) patients
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:00)
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Floating required, including floating down or to CICU (CVPICU) as needed based on census
• May also float to the Liberty campus
• Blocked scheduling accommodated only if willing to work all weekends
• Every other weekend (EOW) required

Requirements

• Active RN license required (Single State OH or Multi-State/Compact accepted)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience with CICU exposure required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
• Minimum 2 holidays coverage expected
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot exceed 5 days total
• Fully vaccinated status required with no exceptions
• First-time travelers will be considered as long as they meet the 2 years of specialty experience requirement
• Previous employees of the facility are ineligible to reapply for 1 year from their termination date
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and local rates will apply
• An additional background check and fingerprinting will be required onsite on the first day of the assignment
