Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring 2 years of PICU experience and OH or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric ICU (PICU) of a children's hospital
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 to 19:00
• Patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Floating required, including to CVPICU and potentially the Liberty campus
• Every-other-weekend (EOW) work required
• Blocked scheduling accommodated for weekends only if willing to work all weekends

Requirements

• Active RN license (OH state or Compact)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience with exposure to CICU required
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in a high-acuity ICU setting
• First-time travelers considered, provided they meet the 2-year specialty experience requirement
• Full vaccination required with no exceptions
• Minimum of 2 holidays worked per contract
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and cannot exceed 5 days
• Previous CCHMC employees ineligible to apply for 1 year from their termination date
• Candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local
• Additional background check and fingerprinting required onsite on first day of assignment
