Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric ICU (PICU) for a 13-week travel assignment at a leading children's hospital in Oklahoma City. The RN will provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care to pediatric patients with complex medical conditions in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients.
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment.
Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products safely.
Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
Monitor vital signs and intervene appropriately during changes in patient condition.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of RN PICU experience required.
Level I Trauma pediatric experience required.
CVICU and NICU experience preferred.
Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact (eNLC) License.
BLS (AHA) required.
PALS (AHA) required.
Assignment Details
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Shift: 3x12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Contract: 13 Weeks
Start Date: August 10, 2026
End Date: November 7, 2026
