Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for a Pediatric ICU night shift position requiring Epic EMR experience and 2 years of recent PICU experience.

Details

• Pediatric Intensive Care Unit setting
• Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS and other certifications must be from AHA or RQI
• 2 years of recent PICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
• Medical exemption only accepted for flu vaccine declination; personal or religious exemptions not accepted

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of the facility are not eligible, including those in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
• 48 hours per week may be available for interested candidates
• Competency testing required for ICU placement, with two attempts allowed to pass
• No more than 3 call-outs allowed within a 13-week contract period; missed shifts must be made up within 6 weeks
• RTO must be requested at time of consideration
