Job Summary Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Registered Nurse position available in an acute care healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients. The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring and supporting patient recovery in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, ensuring adherence to clinical standards and safety protocols.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field.
Additional Information: The role involves providing comprehensive pediatric critical care, including assessment, intervention, and family support. Candidates must be capable of working in a dynamic environment requiring prompt decision-making and teamwork.
