Pulse Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Downey, California.

Shift: Days | 3x12s | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM

Requirements:

  • 2+ years recent PICU experience
  • BSN required
  • Active California RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
  • Experience caring for critically ill pediatric patients
  • Strong pediatric assessment and emergency response skills
  • Experience with ventilators, high-flow oxygen, IV infusions and continuous monitoring
  • Comfortable managing complex pediatric patients and rapidly changing conditions
  • Experience with central lines, medication drips and pediatric critical care protocols
  • Ability to work closely with physicians, respiratory therapy and multidisciplinary pediatric teams
