Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $1,760 per week in Round Rock, TX

Job Title: RN - Pre-Op PACU Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Pre-operative experience - Previous PACU experience preferred Description: This is a contract position for an RN in the Pre-Op PACU. The assignment will last for 8 weeks. The work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. No call or weekend shifts are required. Candidates will be expected to work with a variety of patient cases including orthopedic, neurological, GU, ENT, and gynecological procedures. RNs will be required to manage patients with a typical ratio of 2:1. The unit comprises 10 beds and approximately 8 staff members. Daily staffing includes 1 charge nurse and 6-7 nurses during day shifts. Candidates should be team players who can keep up with a fast-paced environment. Blue scrubs are required as part of the dress code. The unit values collaboration and has a supportive team atmosphere. No permanent positions are available at this time.
