Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $1,775 per week in Atlanta, GA

Job Title: PACU RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: Permanent Shift: Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty. License: Active Nursing License Certifications: Required AHA ACLS & BLS, NIHSS Certification Must-Have: Recent experience in a higher acuity setting. Description: The position involves working in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. This unit is responsible for monitoring patients recovering from various surgical procedures. Cases include thoracic, orthopedic, neurology, vascular, urology, and general surgery. The unit operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. There is a call requirement during holidays. Two major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve) must be worked. The unit is supervised by a Charge Nurse and a Supervisor. Candidates should possess strong critical thinking and assessment skills.
