Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $1,877 per week in Atlanta, GA

Job Opportunity – PACU RN – Georgia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM. The unit operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with call coverage on holidays.

Highlights:

• Ground floor PACU unit specializing in higher acuity post-anesthesia care
• Diverse case mix including Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery
• Electronic Medical Records system: Cerner
• Supportive unit structure overseen by Charge Nurse and Supervisor
• Holiday requirement: 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience
• Active and unencumbered RN license in Georgia (or eligible for compact licensure)
• Current AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
• NIHSS Certification required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
