Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10:00 PM - 10:30 AM. Facility operates 24/7 with holiday call coverage required.
Highlights:
Post-Anesthesia Care Unit supporting a diverse surgical case mix including Thoracic, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Urology, and General Surgery procedures
Higher acuity patient population providing advanced clinical experience
Cerner EMR system in use
Supportive unit structure with dedicated Charge Nurse and Supervisor oversight
Holiday requirement: 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius from the facility location
Requirements:
Active Georgia RN license or compact state license
Minimum 2 years of recent PACU nursing experience
AHA ACLS and BLS certifications required
NIHSS certification required
Cerner EMR experience preferred
