Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Travel Registered Nurse for a reputable hospital in Denver, Colorado. Key Responsibilities of the Travel PACU RN:
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from surgery and procedures
- Monitor airway, vital signs, pain levels, and level of consciousness
- Manage post-operative complications and respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and interventions per protocol
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative teams
- Educate patients and families on post-op care and discharge instructions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR
Requirements of the Travel PACU RN:
- Active Colorado RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- BLS and ACLS required.
- Minimum 2 years of recent PACU experience
- Strong assessment skills and ability to manage post-anesthesia recovery
