Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,006 per week in Camden, SC

Job Title: PACU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 4 years of experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS required Must-Have: Epic experience required Description: Position and specialty in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. Shifts consist of 4 ten-hour days from Monday to Friday. Patient ratios are 1 to 2. Weekend requirements typically involve working every fifth weekend with some weekday coverage needed. Eligible for on-call duty one time per week plus one late shift. Floating within scope may be necessary to meet facility needs. First-time travelers are not accepted for this position. Candidates must have 4 years of relevant experience. BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory. Previous charge experience is preferred. Experience with Epic charting system is required. Travel experience is required. Candidates should be prepared to care for patients across various age groups including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census in the unit is approximately 15 patients. The unit provides phase 1 and phase 2 recovery. Travelers should be aware that all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season. Hurricane season runs from June through November each year. Please consider this if planning to confirm a new assignment during that time. All time off must be included prior to submission and must comply with unit requirements. Candidates with prior permanent employment must have been separated from the facility for one year before reapplying. It is preferred that candidates possess a valid South Carolina RN license before submission. Please ensure compliance with documentation requirements prior to the proposed start date.
