Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU
Deliver post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures
Monitor patient vital signs and document all care in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Collaborate with surgical and anesthetic teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adjust levels of anesthesia as needed while assessing patient's recovery progress
Requirements of the RN - PACU
Minimum 1-year current hospital PACU experience
Active RN license
Certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
