Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,056 per week in Wichita, KS

Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Pre-Op/Recovery) – Kansas**Start Date:** June 26, 2026 **Location:** Wichita, Kansas **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts; on-call requirement includes two 10-hour weekend shifts every 8-9 weekends with 30-minute response timeHighlights:- Pre-operative holding and Phase 2 recovery unit with 9 pre-op beds and 5 recovery beds- Patient ratio of 1:3 allowing for quality, focused care- Diverse case mix including surgery prep, endoscopy, cath lab, EP, CT procedures, outpatient infusions, EKGs, blocks, and blood transfusions- Phase 2 recovery for urology, GYN, and same-day surgery patients- EMR system: Meditech- Unit equipped with modern technology including Pyxis medication system, GE MACVU EKG machines, Doppler, bladder scanners, and patient scalesRequirements:- Active RN license in Kansas or compact state eligibility- Minimum 1 year of current acute care pre-operative RN hospital experience required- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)- Prior Meditech experience preferred- Pre-operative or recovery experience strongly preferred- Strong communication skills and commitment to patient experience excellenceWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This role offers the chance to work in a dynamic pre-operative and recovery environment where patient experience is the top priority.
