Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a Post Anesthetic Care Unit (PACU) on a travel assignment in the vibrant city of San Marcos, TX. This role focuses on providing quality nursing care in a dynamic environment, with exposure to a variety of patient types including general, ortho, urology, ENT, cath lab, ENDO, GYN, and PEDS cases.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - PACU- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
- Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
- Administer medications and treatments using the appropriate protocol and monitor their effectiveness.
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - PACU- Current RN License in the state of TX or compact
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA only)
- 2 years minimum experience required in the related nursing specialty
