Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,101 per week in Bel Air, MD

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU/Critical Care experience preferred License: Active state RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Description: PACU RN position available for nights. 36 hours scheduled from Sunday to Friday, with no Saturdays required. New travelers with strong ICU/Critical Care experience are welcome to apply. Requests for time off must be submitted at the time of the offer and should not include more than one major and one minor holiday request during the fall/winter season. The contract is for 13 weeks, with a shift schedule of three 12-hour nights from 19:00 to 07:30. Applicants should hold an active RN license and relevant certifications including BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Weekend work will be required on Fridays and Sundays. Holidays may be required as they fall, as scheduled. Floating within the specialty may be required, including to other locations if necessary. Pre-scheduled on-call shifts are not required; however, candidates may be placed in "on-call" status during low census periods, which is rare. Patient ratios are set at 2 for day and night shifts. The unit treats adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics with a daily census of around 35 patients. Support available includes respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. Compliance onboarding is required within 72 hours of signing the contract. Candidates must meet all certification requirements prior to starting. Modules are non-billable and accounted for in non-billable operations.
