Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,263 per week in Cleveland, OH

Job Title: Level 3 RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 14 weeks Shift: 3x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in specialty area License: Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing Certifications: CPR certification required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited school of nursing - Previous experience in specific nursing area preferred Description: A professional caregiver who plans, provides, and directs patient care and teaching, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders. Acts as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families, collaborating with other healthcare members. Assists in the orientation process of new personnel and may participate in health center and department committees. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age groups based on specific chronological age, developmental age, and/or psycho-social maturity. Responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessment of the patient according to established standards. Participates in establishing a collaborative plan of care based on assessment data with all involved disciplines. Communicates this plan of care as appropriate. Implements and evaluates the plan of care based on identified patient goals and intended outcomes. Modifies the plan of care based on reassessment of the patient’s status. Completes all documentation according to established standards and utilizes documentation tools appropriately. Assesses the readiness of the patient and significant others to learn and implements an individualized education plan. Actively participates in nursing department initiatives, including in-service opportunities and serving on committees and task forces. Provides age-appropriate care for the specific population served as detailed by the organization. Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides excellent service experiences to all customers by consistently demonstrating standards of performance each day.
