Experience: Minimum of 12 months of PACU or post-anesthesia care experience required
License: Active Iowa or compact multistate nursing license required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (all from the American Heart Association)
Must-Have:
- 24 months of current PACU or post-anesthesia care experience required
- Experience with EPIC electronic medical records required
- Strong experience in reading and measuring telemetry required
- Experience with drips and titrations required
Description:
We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit.
The position involves providing care to patients recovering from anesthesia.
Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months of PACU or post-anesthesia care experience.
Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is required.
Strong telemetry reading and measuring skills are essential.
Experience with drips and titrations is a requirement.
The work schedule consists of shifts from Monday to Friday in the afternoons.
Candidates must hold an active Iowa or compact multistate nursing license.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
Preference will be given to candidates with pediatric care experience.
The unit provides care for a variety of patient populations.
Flexibility in scheduling is important as holiday work may be required.
The environment is fast-paced, requiring strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
