Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,327 per week in Cedar Rapids, IA

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 12 months PACU / post anesthesia care experience required; must have 24 months of current PACU / post anesthesia care experience. License: Active Iowa/IA license or compact/Multistate required Certifications: - BLS (Basic Life Support) - ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Must-Have: - Current/recent pediatric care experience required - Strong experience with telemetry reading and measurement - Experience with drips and titration Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in post anesthesia care. Candidates must be available for weekday shifts, from Monday to Friday. Flexibility in starting times between 0900-1200 is required. The position includes a holiday rotation; candidates may be required to work 1-2 of the 3 upcoming winter holidays. We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate proficiency in drips and titrations. All applicants must possess experience in reading and measuring telemetry. Current American Heart Association or Red Cross certifications for BLS, ACLS, and PALS are essential. Candidates must have a valid driver's license.
