Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse:
- Deliver safe, high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical and procedural anesthesia
- Monitor vital signs, airway, and pain management, responding promptly to patient needs and changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and fluids as prescribed
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient recovery
- Maintain detailed, accurate documentation in compliance with hospital standards
- Provide patient and family education regarding post-operative care and recovery expectations
Requirements of the Travel Nurse:
- Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Minimum of 2 years' recent PACU or critical care experience
