Travel Nurse RN - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) / Pre-Post Op - $2,358 per week in Lebanon, NH

Job Title: PACU RN Profession: RN Specialty: Post Anesthesia Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 Hour AM-PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications preferred Must-Have: Previous ICU and/or high acuity PACU experience is preferred. Description: PACU RN needed for a 13-week assignment. We care for patients who have had various types of surgeries, including but not limited to vascular, general, thoracic, gynecology, neuro, orthopedic, kidney transplants, and whipples. Ventricular monitoring is available for drains, but not for ICP monitoring in the PACU. Patients requiring ICP monitoring will transfer directly to ICU if needed. Familiarity with art lines, central lines, vasoactive and sedative drips, chest tubes, and trachs is required. The PACU environment is high acuity and high volume, often described as chaotic in the evenings. Overnight boarders commonly include ICU craniotomies and step-down or med-surg patients. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
