Key Responsibilities of the Travel Nurse

Provide high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgery
Monitor vital signs and manage pain control in the immediate postoperative period
Assess patients for complications and respond promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff
Educate patients and families on postoperative care and discharge instructions
Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to hospital policies
Travel to the assignment location and quickly integrate into the PACU team

Requirements of the Travel Nurse

Active New York Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications
Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a Post Anesthetic Care Unit or similar setting
