This contract role involves working within the HVI PrePost unit, focusing on phase 1 and phase 2 recoveries including moderate sedation. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care- Manage anesthesia recoveries and sedation for outpatient and inpatient cases
- Care for patients recovering from procedures like heart catheterizations and structural heart interventions
- Collaborate with healthcare teams handling EP studies, structural heart, vascular, thoracic, and CT surgery cases
- Utilize EPIC for documentation and patient management
- Participate in team-based care coordination with Perioperative Care Assistants
Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care- Active BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 1 year of PACU experience
- Cardiac experience preferred
