Start Date: October 5, 2026 Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week (6:00am-6:30pm pre-op or 8:00am-8:30pm post-op), with call requirements
Highlights:
Level I Trauma center serving adult, pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric populations
28-bed unit with approximately 30 visits per day; 2:1 patient ratios across all shifts
Comprehensive case mix including transplants, trauma, complex surgical procedures, interventional radiology, and critical care recoveries
13-week contract with 16 hours of paid orientation; scrubs provided
Call requirement: 2 on-call shifts (Monday-Friday) plus 1 weekend 12-hour on-call shift within a 6-week schedule; 1 summer and 1 winter holiday on-call
Charting system: Cerner Aecis Surgi Net; possible float to GI or Pain Center as needed

Requirements:
Active Pennsylvania RN license required at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; 3 years preferred
Critical Care or PACU experience required
Level I Trauma and ICU background required; SICU, MICU, and CTICU experience strongly preferred
Current certifications required: TNCC, PALS, ACLS, BLS
Experience with ventilators, arterial lines, Swan-Ganz catheters, vasoactive IV titration, and critical care equipment
Charting system experience required; previous charge experience preferred
PA fingerprints and background clearance required (must be completed within specified timeframes)
Requested time off must be submitted at time of application; block scheduling cannot be accommodated
